Coming from Newry, just off the A2 Newry / Warrenpoint road, 2 miles from Warrenpoint, just before Narrow Water Castle.
Great hour-long XC loop, lots of singletrack sections.

Park on the main road at the entrance to Claddy Quarry (in the forest) or take the left just before or just after the forest (at the roundabout on the edge of Warrenpoint) and park to the North of the forest, or in Burren village.

Excellent XC (approx 50 mins) and downhill. Super singletrack climb and descents. Great of a summers evening and being developed all the while. Like everywhere, it's better when dry, but holds up nonetheless. A bit tricky without a guide first time round as it ducks and dives a bit, but well worth the journey for a few laps. Crackin' trails. Nice to be able to ride them in a loop as well. Only disadvantages are that there is limited parking at the quarry entrance and when the weather's bad, the trails get super mucky!

Cannot find a bad thing to say about this trail. Fab single track and nice DH section. Pity about the individual who has broken (sawed) a lot of the wooden bridges in half.

Yes I'd agree, go with someone who knows the area but i'd say after 2-3 laps it pretty straightt forward.

Excellent trails, lovely single track, and very picturesque in the summer. Not too technical, nor any massive drops (well, there is one, but you won't hit it by accident!), but still challenging. The downhill course is doable on an xc bike if you take your time, so well worth a visit. Can get a bit muddy, but then it's in Northern Ireland. What do you expect.

Good place for a bit of everything. None of the descents are particularly steep or harsh, so a hardtail or short travel bike is grand. Some of the best single track we have.

This is a gem. Glyn Obrien took a group of us there for a skills day. brilliant. I have now returned regularly for mid week rides. The cross country trails are some of the best I have ridden and flow so well. Well done to the local trail builders
