A variety of enjoyable and technical trails including jumps and other features to entertain you. Located in the village of Ballyhooly. Well worth a visit if in the area. Approx 8km of trails in total.

Getting There

From Dublin take the M7 to Portlaois then the M8 to fermoy.  From Fermoy take the N72 West to Ballyhooly.  Distance from Dublin – Approx 140 miles.  To find the trails, from the bridge in Ballyhooly head towards roundabout take first exit (head towards Rathcormac) continue for 500m and take first left (Fermoy road) continue 200m and take the first forestry road on the RIGHT.

  • had a look at this trail at the weekend, it is a bit overgrown but has potential it is less of a trail and more a gravity track, from description given to find it simply follow the fire road up until you have to cross the normal road, from there you are continuing up to the top, the entrance to the trees will be on your right hand side, bit of hike a bike moment, about meters into the trees is the start of the trail, there are i think 3 jumps ranging in size which would be handy for someone trying to learn. it is not a major decent to the bottom of the trail so the climb to the start is not so bad, needs some maintenance but still ridable
